My Christmas Present

Merry Christmas to me!

Immediately playing with the lens, of course. English liquor trifle for desert.
And since the semester is officially over- photos of kittens.

Kitten checkin' out my new lens that's right in his face.
Kitten attacking the lens in his face.

I'm not sure if anyone is going to go on the blogger since school is over, but for anyone who is Merry Christmas, happy holidays and best wishes for the new year! See everyone next semester.

ASMP meeting

The seminar the other night at Briarcliff college was super informative. There was a lot of talking but it was all information that we all needed to hear as students. I think what I got most out of it was it put a sense of reality in my goals; like everything I want to happen with my photography career is achievable with the right steps. So although I asked my share of questions and listened to everything they had to say I think the question that won't really have an answer is where do I start? I think you just have to get started, finish school do well and put yourself out there in anyway possible at this point.

Red Bull Photographers

http://blog.pocketwizard.com/?p=3037

This article is awesome and so is the photographer. I found him when looking into what it took to get sponsored by Red Bull for horseback riding(which has been a huge dream of mine for so long and something they've never done before. I've been throwing ideas together for shoot a video with some friends of mine and looked up their photographers for inspiration. After reading this story and seeing a few photographers work that shoot for Red Bull I'm starting to see that shooting for them would truly be a dream job.
